We visited the bibliothèque (library) today for the first time today and Mme Lodge was kind enough to let us borrow our first book from the library! The students put their borrowed books in their pochettes. We will have library again on Monday, students are welcome to bring their books back to school then so that they can take out a new book or keep their current book if they are still reading it.
The September newsletter and calendar is in the pochette today along with a snack volunteer form, hearing test information and Scholastic flyers.
On the first day of school we took special photos and began to make a magnetic picture frame. We finished those up today so please check in the pochette for your child's beautiful craft. I am certain it is much cuter than mine, haha!
I have also set out an email with information about the Seesaw app. As I mentioned, this is new for me this year, so I hope to get things rolling by next week.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND A FAMILY PICTURE TO SCHOOL WITH YOUR CHILD BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST.
